The River Carron Conservation Association was established by riparian owners of the River Carron in 2019 when wild salmon numbers in the River dropped suddenly after a series of dramatic spates in the early 90s. Bob Kindness a keen fisherman and marine scientist begin the considerate restocking programme to preserve The Carron’s wild salmon population.

TARTANSILK were asked to assist the RCCA with media engagement, manifesto creation, logo design and web content in advance of the release of exciting DNA research carried out by the University of the Highlands and Islands.

The campaign will engage both government and public in the preservation of Scotland’s wild salmon population which is under an ever growing environmental and ecological threat.

TARTANSILK’s heart is in Scotland so this campaign embodies our ethos and desire to preserve and promote the best of Scotland.
